Copenhagen and Amsterdam are two of the SMART Cities of Europe and they are good examples in urban practices and sustainability that we many times wrote about on UrbanizeHub and UrbanizeHub Romania.
“Lessons from Amsterdam and Copenhagen” will firstly talk about the sustainable urban development of these two cities, how they evolved into what we know nowadays and what we can learn from them: quality public spaces, civic engagement, innovation, alternative mobility, green cities.
The second part of the talk will point out the effects of the pandemic on such cities. What does public life look like nowadays? What is the relationship between users and the public space? How can we rethink our cities for future similar situations?
These are a couple of topics that we will discuss on Wednesday together with our guests, Gratian Mihailescu, Colin Fernando Alvarez Whitfield, Teodora-Irina Comăniţă and Servaz Van Berkum
Join us live on Wednesday, 8th of April at 12:30 AM GMT +2.
