Announcing the 2015 European Social Innovation Competition finalists!
Today we announce the 2015 finalists for the European Social Innovation Competition, 10 ventures named from a shortlist of 30 and a total of over 1,400 applicants from 40 countries.
The selected ideas have the potential to bring value to individuals, communities, countries and entire regions, and reflect the issues and concerns at the heart of many Europeans’ lives. The innovations aim to create solutions and respond to concerns such as our ageing population, food waste, sustainable production, organic farming, and accessibility.
Take a look at the full list of finalists here.
The 10 finalists will pitch for their chance to win one of three €50,000 prizes at the awards ceremony on the 25th November in Brussels. We’d like to invite you to join us at the Albert Hall in Brussels for a great programme of events including hearing from European Commissioner Elżbieta Bieńkowska, stories of success from previous Competition projects, and of course, the announcement of our three 2015 winners.
Please click here to register for the event, we hope you’ll join us to meet some inspiring people and celebrate social innovation around Europe.
