Announcing new speakers for launch in Amsterdam
With three weeks to go we can’t wait for the launch of the 2016 European Social Innovation Competition! And we’re particularly excited about this year’s theme of refugee and migrant integration and seeing innovative ideas from across Europe.
We’re thrilled to announce two new inspiring speakers for the launch event in Amsterdam on 25 February:
Joséphine Goube, Director of strategic partnerships at Migreat, supporting people through the immigration and integration process
Gabriela Sonnleitner, Founder of Magdas Hotel Vienna, 2013 finalist of the European Social Innovation Competition
They’ll join some of Europe’s most exciting social entrepreneurs to discuss refugee and migrant integration and how social innovation can address the issues and challenges we’re currently seeing across Europe.
The day will also include:
a welcoming note by Kajsa Ollongren, Vice Mayor of Amsterdam
an address from Sławomir Tokarski, Director at the European Commission
insights into the social innovation landscape in Amsterdam and the Netherlands
break-our sessions to discuss ideas around social innovation and the theme of this year’s competition
