NESsT is seeking a Project Manager (PM) for our office in Timisoara. The Project Manager will be responsible supporting the Romania staff, with the focus on the project management of the “Sprijin integrat Structurilor de Economie Sociala (SISES), ID 143849 Project.“
This is a part time position (84 hours / month involvement). The Project Manager will be directly supervised by the Country Director for Romania.
Oversee the Project Management of the “Sprijin integrat Structurilor de Economie Sociala (SISES), ID 143849 Project. “
– Manage and implement the activities of the “Sprijin integrat Structurilor de Economie Sociala (SISES), ID 143849 Project “ including the following tasks:
o Organizing weekly internal project meetings,
o Participating at the project meetings organized by the Solicitant,
o Implementing the procedures elaborated for each activity within the project,
o Monitoring the achieving of results of the project, the achieving of the objectives, indicators and target groups,
o Working with 2 social enterprises and support their development and activities,
o Attending and organizing events related to the projects, such as a national event promoting social economy and a national conference marking the ending of the project.
o Other activities included in the project: accreditation of a training course on Social Entrepreneurship, organizing and delivering the training course, creating a national database with all social enterprises from rural areas, contributing to making the script for a short documentary about 5 social enterprises.
– Oversee the monitoring tasks of the project: making sure that the quality and performance of the Social Enterprises are in line with the project requirements.
– Oversee the progress of the project activities in accordance with the Romanian legislation and the project requirements.
– Collaborates with other project partners.
– Leads the narrative reporting processes of the Project.
– Work closely with the Finance Associate in order to complete the financial reporting.
– Prepares accurate and timely narrative reports with all the supporting documents.
Professional training on project management, project management certification is mandatory
University degree and minimum of 5 years work experience (experience at nonprofit organizations, project management of Romanian EU funds is a mandatory).
Relevant experience, particularly in the areas of project management, monitoring and monitoring reporting, evaluations.
Native Romanian speaker and advanced verbal and written English required.
Strong computer skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies, including work experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Microsoft Excel), experience with other online tools, CRM systems, Google docs.
Excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to be flexible, resourceful, proactive and innovative in small, dynamic, international, nonprofit environment with limited resources.
Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
Other language is a plus.
Compensation: Salary is in line with the project budget for this position – 4.116 RON gross salary/ month (net: 2.887 RON/month)
Location: Timisoara, Romania
Schedule: 84 hours / month part time position. Flexibility based on project needs and theagreement with the Supervisor.
Duration of the Contract: February 15th, 2015 – October 14st, 2015.
