It’s now only one week until applications close for this year’s European Social Innovation Competition! We’re looking for inspiring ideas, from people who believe in making the most of skills and technologies to close the inequality gap in our society.
If you, or someone you know, is keen to submit an idea then don’t miss out, and make sure you apply by Friday 7 April 12 noon Brussels time! To apply, all you need to do is fill in seven questions in our application form, and you can use any of the 24 official EU languages.
This year we are looking for fresh and energetic ideas, which could include, but are not limited to:
- New technologies and business models that make the digital economy more inclusive or use collaborative solutions to reduce inequality;
- Innovations that empower disadvantaged people to fully participate in the digital economy and gain revenue from employment or entrepreneurship;
- Initiatives that equip those at risk of being shut out of the labour market with the appropriate skills to shape the knowledge economy, such as creativity, communication or problem-solving;
- Solutions to protect and support low wage/skilled workers in the evolving labour market.
You can apply if you’re an individual, a group or an organisation within the European Union and in countries participating in the European Horizon 2020 programme. If you’ve got any questions on your eligibility, then email info@
The deadline for applications is next Friday so don’t miss out on your chance of becoming one of three winners, receiving €50,000 each to make your idea a reality!
