The Center for Institutional Analysis and Development – Eleutheria (CADI), The Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FN), The Institute for Economic Studies Europe (IES- Europe) and The Society for Individual Freedom (SoLib) are receiving applications for The September School of Economics, Politics and Philosophy, scheduled for September 20-25, 2016 at Hotel Apollo Hermannstadt in Sibiu, Romania.

Illiberal Challenges, Liberal Alternatives
The September School is a regular program that aims to create a space for learning and debating key themes of public interest: market and competition’s mechanisms, the functioning of the rule of law systems and the comparison of institutional systems, the history of civil and economic liberties, the substantiation of individual rights, especially the institution of private property, ways to protect freedom guaranteed by the Constitution, the limits of state’s power, the future of freedom and prosperity in Europe and worldwide. In its past five editions, the seminar brought together hundreds of students, researchers in social sciences and political philosophy, economists and professors from top universities in the USA and Europe.
How to apply:
Classes, room and board (but not transportation) are paid by the organizers for at least 30 participants. However, successful applicants will be charged with a registration fee of 40 EUR (for International applicants) or 180 RON (for Romanian applicants).
More unsponsored places are also available, feel free to inquire if interested.
Applicants would be students and graduates in human and social sciences and in other fields who are interested in the value of liberty.
Application deadline is August 28 for international applicants including Visa applicants and September 2 for Romanian applicants. Successful applicants from abroad will be announced on August 31 and Romanian participants will be notified on September 5.
