Street Delivery stands for a city that provides joy to its inhabitants, one in which pedestrians partake in their environment as much as the other people involved in the city traffic.
Our goal is to persuade the Romanian authorities to create a cultural pathway for pedestrians around Arthur Verona Street so that, in time, it would connect Icoanei Garden with Cismigiu Garden. The objectives of our urban plan include the enlargement of sidewalks, the construction of an underground pedestrian passage for crossing Magheru Boulevard with multiple levels for parking. The new promenade is mainly conceived for pedestrians and bikers and its purpose is to provide an alternative solution to endless traffic jams and noisy streets.
The concept of the promenade is to link the obvious utility to the entertainment and cultural dimension. This means that the passer-by can walk and enjoy the city, while also spending time in an outdoor cafe or witnessing street events.
We care about the city, about the way it functions and reacts to human intervention. But we also care about the fact that people should feel healthy and full of life when interacting with their urban environment.
This is why, for three days a year Arthur Verona Street is closed for cars and open for people.
