 Les films de Cannes à Bucarest is organizing the second edition of the Managing Talentsevent on October 21st, at 11:00, at Cinema Pro, continuing on the festival’s path to support beginner or established actors, regardless of age, in their professional development.

The event brings to Bucharest some of the most active casting directors of the moment: Frank Moiselle (Ireland), Vicki Thomson (United Kingdom), Nathalie Cheron (France), Elizaveta Shmakova (Russia), Victor Jenkins (United Kingdom) and Richard Cook(Ireland).

The structure of the workshop:

  • 11:00 – 11:45: Actors for Actors – a dialogue between invited guests and actors about the opportunities, specificities and conditions of actors internationally. Guests: Nahuel Perez Biscayart, Dylan Smith, Valentina Lodovini and Vlad Ivanov.
  • 11:45 – 12:30: What we expect from you – what directors expect from actors after meeting at casting. Guests: Radu Muntean, Cristian Mungiu.
  • 12:30 – 13:15: Listening to casting directors – experienced casting directors speak about self tapes, tactics, opportunities and preparation for international castings.
  • 13:15: networking cocktail

Actors can apply by filling out the online application form. Deadline for applications: October 8. All participants enrolled in the workshop will be automatically registered in the database of the casting directors invited to Bucharest. Moreover, the casting directors will select a number of approximately 30 actors that will have the chance to participate in one-to-one meetings with them !
