In July 2014, Aspire is set to launch its newest program, Aspire Professional Workshop (APW), designed to offer leadership, entrepreneurship and personal development courses for young professionals from companies and organizations in Romania and abroad!
The Aspire Professional Weekend is the avant-garde of the Aspire Professional Development Program. The APW corresponds to a state-of-the-art representation of our core curriculum at Aspire and it is specifically tailored for young professionals. This is the first initiative of its kind at Aspire and it will be the basis for the formulation of a new fully fledged course called Aspire Development Program, in 2015.
Aspire is currently looking for ambitious young professionals (23-30) interested in engaging in debates with Harvard, Wharton and McGill instructors and discussing new leadership perspectives with some of Romania’s top entrepreneurs and business people!
The program will be held on July 5-6, 2014 at Hotel Sport, in Poiana Brasov. The core concepts of the curriculum are communication, personal development and leadership. APW will leverage the best relevant courses from the confirmed faculty for the Aspire 2014 edition. These are:
Steve Jarding. Steve is a lecturer at Harvard Kennedy School of Goverment and recognized in political strategies and electoral campaign management. He has served as a senior strategist and campaign manager for various US political figures. In 1996 Roll Call magazine named him one of the „50 most influential political people in Washington”.
Max Jacobson. Max graduated with honors Financial Engineering at Princeton University. Also he is a successful entrepreneur and he runs his own training company in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In 2009-2013, Max worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and he taught English in China for 2 years.

Just like the other Aspire Group programs, Aspire Professional Workshop will be designed as an immersion experience in which participants live together with each other, form bonds and interact with the faculty, organizers, senior board and the Aspire community at large.
The application process will consist of a CV and an interview with one of the Founders of the Aspire Group. The program fee is set at EUR 200, covering room, board and program-related costs for the two days.
